EVENT DESCRIPTION: Leaving from IHD, cross Sam Newell Road to Northeast Parkway to NC Highway 51. Go left on NC 51 to Lawyers Road in Mint Hill, NC. Turn right on Lawyers Road and continue to the end. Go left on Unionville Brief Road to Clontz Long Road. Go right on Clontz Long Road to end at Sikes Mill Road. Go left on Sikes Mill to Carriker Road. Go right on Carriker Road (stay left at split) to end. Go left on Love Mill Road crossing Highway 218, continue across Rocky River to Rock Hole Road on right. Go right on Rock Hole to end. Do a quick left and right onto Buster Road and follow to the end. Go left on Highway 205 into Oakboro, NC. At the traffic light, do a quick left and right onto 1st Street/Saint Martin Church Road. Continue to end at Highways 24/27. Go right to Highway 52 North. Go left on 52 North to traffic light at Main Street. Go right to the destination on the right. Parking in the rear.

Return ride: Optional choice is continue following the ride leader on back roads to I-485 in Mint Hill or leave the group and return to Charlotte on Highways 24/27. Please notify the ride leader if leaving the group.

Closed Event: Chapter activities are conducted primarily for the benefit of H.O.G. Chapter members. Closed Events are those events open to Chapter members and one guest per member.  All guests must sign an event release. Be aware, all rides and events are subject to change or cancellation due to weather or other circumstances beyond our control.

Impairment Policy: The consumption and use of alcohol is a serious personal responsibility involving the safety of family, riding friends and the individual HOG member. Alcohol consumption before or during a motorcycling activity is not safe, responsible behavior. Independence Chapter #4539 does not allow the use of alcohol or drugs before or during a riding event* and does not furnish alcohol at Chapter rides. Riders whose skills are observed or suspected to be impaired by alcohol or drugs before riding cannot join the ride. Riders using alcohol or drugs while riding will be asked to leave the ride. It is the responsibility of each Template Chapter member to support the consistent enforcement of this policy

Photography Policy: Photographing, filming, recording and videotaping of activities and events will be occurring Independence Chapter events. By entering the H.O.G.® event area, you irrevocably grant permission to the Harley-Davidson Motor Company® and its agents to photograph, film, record and/or videotape you and use (and authorize the use of) your name, image, likeness, voice, and/or biographical or other information in any and all media now known or hereinafter developed in perpetuity for any and all purposes.
