EVENT DESCRIPTION: Leaving from IHD, cross Sam Newell Road to Northeast Parkway to NC Highway 51. Go left on NC 51 to NC 218 in Mint Hill, NC. Go right on NC 218, cross I-485 to Brief Road. Go left on Brief Road, cross US Highway 601 to Hopewell Church Road. Go left on Hopewell Church to end at Garmon Mill Road. Go right on Garmon Mill to end at Renee Ford Road. Go left on Renee Ford to Nance Road. Go left on Nance Road to right on Browns Hill Road to end at Highways 24/27. Go left on Highways 24/27, through Locust, NC, to Reed Mine Road. Go right on Reed Mine to Barrier Georgeville Road. At Highway 200, continue across Highway 200 to end at Barrier Store Road. Go left on Barrier Store to end at Mt. Pleasant Road. Go right on Mt. Pleasant to Cold Springs Road. At Cold Springs Road, go left and continue across Highway 49 on Irish Potato Road to end at Old Concord-Salisbury Road. Go right on Concord-Salisbury Road to Beatty’s Ford Road. Go left on Beatty’s Ford to Lentz Road. Go right on Lentz Road, crossing Highway 29 to N. Main Street. Go right on N. Main to Porky’s on the left.

Return ride: Optional choice is continue following the ride leader on back roads to I-485 in Mint Hill or leave the group and return to Charlotte on I-85. Please notify the ride leader if leaving the group.

Closed Event: Chapter activities are conducted primarily for the benefit of H.O.G. Chapter members. Closed Events are those events open to Chapter members and one guest per member.  All guests must sign an event release. Be aware, all rides and events are subject to change or cancellation due to weather or other circumstances beyond our control.

Independence Chapter #4539 does not allow the use of alcohol or drugs before or during a riding event* and does not furnish alcohol at Chapter rides. Riders whose skills are observed or suspected to be impaired by alcohol or drugs before riding cannot join the ride. Riders using alcohol or drugs while riding will be asked to leave the ride. It is the responsibility of each Template Chapter member to support the consistent enforcement of this policy

Photography Policy: Photographing, filming, recording and videotaping of activities and events will be occurring Independence Chapter events. By entering the H.O.G.® event area, you irrevocably grant permission to the Harley-Davidson Motor Company® and its agents to photograph, film, record and/or videotape you and use (and authorize the use of) your name, image, likeness, voice, and/or biographical or other information in any and all media now known or hereinafter developed in perpetuity for any and all purposes.
