Meeting at the BP Gas Station- 9311 Steele Creek Rd., Charlotte, NC 28273/Exit 4 off I-485 and Hwy 160, then left turn off ramp to station on the left

The ride will take about 1.5 hours to our destination.  We will start on I-485 to NC 16 and then follow back roads and up into the hills to come into the back of Yellow Deli Restaurant parking lot. We will have a rest stop at the Shell Gas Station on Millersville Rd and Hwy 64 for 15 min.  before crossing over Hwy 90E and heading up into the hills to enjoy a few roads before coming in from behind the deli and into the parking lot

Their menu consists of sandwiches, soups and chili, salads, breakfast served all day, smoothies, teas, juices and root beer on tap.  Next door is The Community Foods Market where they bake the fresh bread for the Yellow Deli and all the desserts.  You can take a loaf of bread or dessert home and can check out their pottery, baskets, or other food items.  Lunch pricing is $5-$11 range

We will be returning on Old Mountain Rd to Liberty Church Rd to Millersville Rd to NC Hwy 16 and then to I-485 where you can peel off in your direction as needed

Come with a full tank of gas, check your tire psi and dress appropriately

Closed Event: Chapter activities are conducted primarily for the benefit of H.O.G. Chapter members. Closed Events are those events open to Chapter members and one guest per member.  All guests must sign an event release. Be aware, all rides and events are subject to change or cancellation due to weather or other circumstances beyond our control.

Impairment Policy: The consumption and use of alcohol is a serious personal responsibility involving the safety of family, riding friends and the individual HOG member. Alcohol consumption before or during a motorcycling activity is not safe, responsible behavior. Independence Chapter #4539 does not allow the use of alcohol or drugs before or during a riding event* and does not furnish alcohol at Chapter rides. Riders whose skills are observed or suspected to be impaired by alcohol or drugs before riding cannot join the ride. Riders using alcohol or drugs while riding will be asked to leave the ride. It is the responsibility of each Template Chapter member to support the consistent enforcement of this policy

Photography Policy: Photographing, filming, recording and videotaping of activities and events will be occurring Independence Chapter events. By entering the H.O.G.® event area, you irrevocably grant permission to the Harley-Davidson Motor Company® and its agents to photograph, film, record and/or videotape you and use (and authorize the use of) your name, image, likeness, voice, and/or biographical or other information in any and all media now known or hereinafter developed in perpetuity for any and all purposes.
